Minutes of the Meeting held on 19th February 2007 were
approved and signed. DECLARATIONS OF INTERESTThe Members had no

Parish Meeting - The Clerk
confirmed the Annual Parish Meeting has been arranged for Monday 30th
April. Hopefully Penny
Coates will attend as Guest Speaker but if it is not possible John Froggatt, Director
of East Midlands Airport will come along. White Posts, Saxelbye - Clerk reported application has been made for Asfordby Mine Environmental Improvement Grant. Maintenance - Creosote has been purchased for Nathan to stain Bus Shelters. Mr. Easom to liaise with Mr. & Mrs. Gibbons regarding wood stain for seat and notice board. Decided Stocks should not be wood stained. Chairman reported she has washed the ‘No Parking’ Sign on the Green. Borough Liaison Meeting - Clerk & Chairman reported on Meeting attended chaired by Ab Kettleby Parish Council. Circulated Minutes for information. Melton Branch LRAPLC Meeting - Clerk reported on Meeting attended. Clerk to inform Chairman of Melton Branch no Member of P.C. has been to Royal Garden Party and all Members of P.C. would like to attend visit to Green Recycling site at Sproxton. Global Warming Film - DVD available at M.B.C. if anyone would like to borrow. OTHER BUSINESS
The
Chairman reported the conker tree has pushed the path up by the Church
Gate (west gate adjacent to Red House).
Path needs taking up and re-tarmacing.
Clerk to inform Highways.
Mr. Morris commented
Richard Spooner has been to look at Old School Room, Saxelbye.
Repairs will cost much more than originally expected and looking
into possible funding. Parish
Council had agreed donation of £100. Will report back when more information available.
Mr. Morris reported
water leak by bridge on main road to Saxelbye.
