2 Members of the Public The Chairman welcomed members of the public and invited them to speak. Concern was raised regarding the Planning Application for 31 Main Street, Grimston. Decided the Clerk informs Melton Borough Council work has started and ask them to check levels before foundations commence. APOLOGIES - None DECLARATIONS OF INTERESTLaura Smith declared an interest in the Application for Tree Works at 29 Main Street, Grimston.MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETINGThe Minutes of the Meeting held on 19th January 2009 were approved and signed. MATTERS ARISINGAnnual Parish Meeting - The Clerk to inform Brian Ravenscroft of Jenny Allsop’s phone number and liaise regarding screen and projector. Street Furniture Insurance - The Parish Council decided to increase the premium as detailed in letter dated 21st January 2009 from Allianz Insurance. Melton West Community Forum - Next Meeting to be held on 26th March at Nether Broughton Village Hall. Agenda to follow. Matters Trading Standards Consumer Affairs A 2 B Clerks & Councils Direct STANDING ORDERS The Clerk circulated draft copy of new Standing Orders. Decided to put on Agenda of next Meeting. ACCOUNTS Current Account £1505.88 Deposit Account £2101.27 Cheques signed as follows:- E-On (Jan Charge) £14.89 PLANNING MATTERS Laura Smith declared an interest. 29 Main Street, Grimston (Application No. 09/00054/TCA). Remove single large multi trunked conifer. The Parish Council agreed to support the Application. Church Farm, Main Street, Grimston (Application No. 08/00953/TCA). Consent to Work on Trees received. ANY OTHER BUSINESS Bumble Cottage, Grimston - Clerk to contact Mr. Dudley regarding Application for a Lawful Development Certificate. Mr. Morris reported the Horse Chestnut tree is weeping. Clerk to arrange for Julian Simpson of Leics. County Council to inspect Horse Chestnut Tree and other Parish Council trees in Grimston for bi-annual inspection.
